Exploring Forgiveness: A list of resources from a week long exhibition and series of talks/workshops 2016

The exhibition was based on materials from the Forgiveness Project http://theforgivenessproject.com/

The main event was an afternoon with Marina Cantacuzino, “ It could happen to anyone: consequences, punishment and forgiveness” in which Marina spoke about the foundation and history of the Forgiveness Project and Jacob and Shad shared their stories.  Shad’s story is available at http://theforgivenessproject.com/stories/shad-ali-england/

A story telling workshop engaged us with stories from different faiths on the theme of forgiveness.  A report on the event is available here, and a link to the stories shared here

Another workshop explored the theme of “How Sweet is Revenge” from a Psychotherepeutic perspective.  A report on this event is available here

We also looked at a film about the Iran-Iraq war and a remarkable story about reconciliation “My Enemy: My Brother” http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/13/opinion/my-enemy-my-brother.html?_r=0  There is a useful educational resource on this film at  https://www.globalonenessproject.org/library/films/my-enemy-my-brothe
