Library
LIFC library is a resource for those seeking books and information about the religions, theories and theologies and examples of interreligious contact and cooperation and related theology, philosophy, politics, sociology and spirituality.
LIFC thanks the many faith communities (alphabetically) Bahai, Brahma Kumaris, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Zoroastrian for their generous donations over the years of books informing about and explaining their several respective traditions, and also copies in English translation, of their sacred writings.
The LIFC library is normally accessible by appointment (Use the contact form or telephone 020 7604 3053). It is intended mainly as a reference library – but is available as a lending library to participants in the LIFC Certificate in Inter Faith Relations.
We have worked with a number of suppliers including (alphabetically) Amazon on the Internet, Blackwells of Oxford and Church House Bookshop London – and wish to express particular thanks to our local bookseller Queens Park Bookshop (Salusbury Road NW6) for their unfailing courtesy, help and efficiency.
We welcome your comments on our as yet very limited selection and do say what you would like us to include – while in terms of recommendations and book reviews, see…
