The interface between humanist/secular and religious philosophical views is often presented as one in which the two world views are set one against the other.  In reality there is much which we share in common and also much in which the two worlds interact and influence each other.  This series of discussions will explore themes which seem to be important for both perspectives.  We will meet for a series of seminars led by practitioners in their fields in which participants will be asked to discuss certain important themes in the area of Identity and Meaning.  Themes to be covered will include: The Search for “Truth”, Integrity; Consciousness and Experience ; Community; Being Other; Human Identity.
