Food and Judaism: Pesach (Passover)

Presented by Rabbi Rachel Benjamin, Liberal Jewish Synagogue

Rabbi Rachel Benjamin was first ordained in 1998 and served as Assistant Rabbi (and then Associate Rabbi) of Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue (NPLS) until 2004. After serving as a Rabbi in East Anglia, Woodford and South Bucks, In January 2015, she was appointed as Rabbi at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue (LJS) in St. John’s Wood.  Rabbi Rachel is committed to interfaith dialogue, working closely with the Sternberg Centre Jewish-Christian-Muslim dialogue Group; starting up an Interfaith Clergy Group while at NPLS; was involved at the inception of Multi Faith One Vision, a Chesham-based group; and, also while at SBJC, established a close relationship with the Auerbacher Synagogenverein in Germany. She has taught at Leo Baeck College, and at the University of London (Heythrop College).
